Name after Cuban engineer Francisco Javier Cisneros, the Parque de la Luz or the Plaza Cisneros is popular for its ‘artificial forest’ with 300 light poles that are illuminated after dark and turn the minimalistic landscape into a rather warm and romantic corner in Medellin. All the poles stand at a height of 24 meters and compliment the nearby EPM Library.
Take a walk here after sunset to admire the gorgeous lights and don’t forget to take some pictures of the place too!
