Parque Explora, Medellin Reviews

  • Marvellous experience, especially for children! They have a bit of everything in this Explora Park where you can really learn and explore in a ludic way. The staff is young, dynamic and very helpful. I will not leave the Explora Park without good memories, believe me! A must-do activity with kids. You will need at least 3-4 hours.

  • A incredible park! Good for family and friends. Near to metro station. The place are 4 museums in 1. Awesome. It's a must-see place!!

  • I'm not sure it's the place I want to go while visiting Medellin. The guides and employees were incredibly nice and informed. All willing to explain and share info. It's just not culture rich.... I was hoping for more of a Colombian vibe.

  • Originally came here for the aquarium but discovered Parque Explora was also a science museum experience. Filled with beautiful fishes, amphibians and fun, hands on experiences about space and time - it was easy to spend a few hours here as just adults. Accommodate more time if you are going with children as there was also an extra section for children only. We only did the general admission 25,500 (does not include the planetarium.) Outside the park, there are also a ton of vendors that sell the usual accessories, souvenirs, snacks and juices.

  • I would have given this a higher score but we unfortunately had to share our visit with some 500 school kids. We had to cut our visit short because we had to deal with approximately 200 shrieking 5 year olds. The room echoed so badly that our ears were ringing. Try and go out of school hours maybe...
