Medolla is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of Modena. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,901 and an area of 26.8 square kilometres (10.3 sq mi). The municipality of Medolla contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Villafranca and Camurana. Medolla borders the following municipalities: Bomporto, Camposanto, Cavezzo, Mirandola, San Felice sul Panaro, San Prospero.
