Nestled on the banks of the famous river Missisipi, Cliff Cave County Park is an idyllic oasis of greenery in St. Louis. It is entirely shrouded in lush greenery, and the fresh air it provides is unlike anything you might have experienced in the urban life. The park is named so after the Cliff Cave, a site of great historical and archaeological importance. It was considered a holy site by the native Americans, as it had fresh spring water and was located right next to the river.

It has a number of trails, but mainly three important ones: The Mississippi trail, the spring valley trail and the river bluff trail. There is a pavilion here too, with numerous picnic tables.
