If you are interested in history, especially maritime history, you will love this museum. Museum is located near the entrance of Jonker Street and at what was believed, to be the site of the warehouse used by the Ming dynasty Chinese admiral Zheng He. Entrance is not expensive. The museum is self-guided and has English interpretation boards for each display. The content was very interesting - covering not only the global conquests of Cheng Ho throughout Asia, Africa and Middle East but also aspects such as the spread of Islam across the Asian continent. A great place to spend an hour or two. There is also an amazing display of the armada of ships commanded by Zheng He. It opens at 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. throughout the year.
