Malacca Zoo Reviews & Ratings

  • It's good to have a zoo in melaka. A very good place to relax your mind with plenty of animals. Good for education to educate children with flora and fauna. Easy to get access with o lot of parking lot. There are also have hotel nearby which are affordable. Have a nice ride in the zoo and can play with animals. Have the attractive animals show too. Lovely

  • A good place to visit with children. Well, it will be unfair to compare with Zoo Negara which has better fundings. But, surprisingly it is well maintained and my view is that it is much better than Zoo Taiping. Ticket price is rm16.90 for adult and half price for children (4-12) and senior citizens. I would recommend to take the tram (tram ticket sold separately) first before start to walk as total path is about 2km. Main attractions are: 1. White rhinoceros 2. Elephant - you can feed the elephants. Good experience. 3. Lion 4. Giraffe 5. Tapir Come early (before 10am) especially during weekends to avoid crowd.

  • Good exposures for my daughter. I've been here about 10 yes ago and it was a lot better then. A lot of exhibitions are closed for maintenance. But the main animals are all there.

  • Dissapointing because I'm a big fan of reptile houses. The last I went there, they only had 2 pythons left. They have feeding section for rabbits and elephants, but RM5 for 2 measly carrots cut in 4 is just daylight robbery. You want to encourage children to get to know these animals, not to squeeze off the parent's wallet. I would've purchased more had it been RM2 a pack. I went there on a Wednesday, and the tram service were closed except for reserved rides for some school tour that came and paid early for them. For the rest of us, we had to walk all the way. Its probably around 2km to complete the entire footpath. Hated it. No shops are stalls were open, so my kids felt very thirsty by the end of our journey.

  • Many animals to see. Worth if u come with family. Parking is limited. Better come earlier. Bring hat and spare water or food.
