L C, Melbourne Reviews
What a down right waste of money the place was crammed with very little challenges. It was all over the place. Could barely see the holes so much for “glow golf” the walls were glowing and pretty cool but definitely not impressed. Staff were lacking in customer service. For $30 for 2 adults I wouldn’t recommend going here. There is much better courses around such as Latrobe mini golf with 36 holes and Grampians adventure mini golf. As someone who plays mini golf frequently I would not recommend this place nor will I return to this place.
Went in to get away from the heat. That was achieved. The first hole was difficult to see perhaps a new lick of paint for the holes. The course was wheelchair accessible (a family went through with one). There wasn't a large crowd or wait for the holes. The course isnt very challenging but kid friendly. Front desk was relaxed.
Hi There, Me and my partner just happened to walk past your minigolf today and decided to give it a go however we were extremely disapointed with what we found. The place was so poorly lit we couldnt see the holes. The holes were also not markes out clearly so we didnt know where it had to go. There was zero challenge to the course and really should be marked for 12 year olds and under only. We also found the course extremely poorly maintained with drink bottles discarded all over the place and the putting squares not even connect to the floor. Also the separation between the holes was very poor and the ball kept going into the wrong hole. Also music was a bit of a joke with terrible 80s playing that could only be heard in one of the rooms anyway. Over all feel very ripped off having payed $30 for this poor experience, i feel a response is really needed. Thanks
The person at the front desk could not have cared less about the customers. There was no glow, the first hole was pitch black while the other holes were brightly lit. The course was badly set up and has not been well maintained. The only good thing about this place was that the aussie designs of the holes were amusing.
GlowGolf in Docklands was an abysmal experience. Each of the 18 holes lacked the challenge and creativity that would make a successful and engaging mini golf course. Dispite advertising as being a "glow in the dark" experience, my colleague and I were distraught to discover the travesty that next to nothing actually glowed. The whole place looked more like something that my father would create in his spare time in the shed. Not even the golf clubs glowed. The most glow in the dark experience was my white shirt and my colleague's freshly whitened teeth. This would have been bad enough, but our experience was worsened by the absence of regulations on the quantity of people allowed into the tightly packed "course". There were, we quote from the gentleman beind the desk, sixty four children from a regional high school running rampant inside, completely unsupervised, disrupting what little immersion remained and causing absolute chaos. I am thouroughly disappointed with GlowGolf Docklands. Would not recommend as a bonding excersise with a prospective client.
