1. Melbourne Museum

Melbourne Museum is situated near Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens. It is also home to IMAX. It is full of American History, indigenous cultures, and Science. You can visit Australia's legendary Racehorse, take a close look at funnel-web spiders and res & black insects. There are various shops in Museum which offer a wide range of books, toys, craft, and more. It opens 7 days a week, and you can take a taxi or drive yourself to the museum. 

2. Arts Centre

The Arts Centre Melbourne was formerly known as the Victorian Arts Centre. It is a performing arts center which consists of a complex of concert halls and theatres. It is located in the Southbank in Victoria in the Suburbs of Melbourne.

3. NGV International

It is an Art Museum in Melbourne which is popularly known as NGV, short for National Gallery of Victoria. It was founded in 1861. It is the largest and the oldest museums in Australia. The NGV has encyclopedic art across its two sites. One site is located on the St Kilda Road which was designed by Sir Roy Grounds. It was opened for public in 1968. The other site is NGV International. It has the Gallery's International Art collection, and it has been marked on the Victorian Heritage Register.

4. State Library of Victoria

It is the Melbourne's landmark and icon. The State Library is a magnificent building from the 19th Century. It has beautiful heritage interior in which La Trobe is a reading room with a dome-shaped ceiling. The library has a vast collection of 2 million books and thousands of pictures, newspapers, manuscripts, maps, audio-video, and digital which reflects Victoria's history. 5. The Astor Theatre

It is a short trip from Sandringham Station. It is Melbourne's favorite and has good eating points nearby. It is a grand old theatre which has only one large screen. It has a resident cat which is much loved.

6. Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre

Melbourne's greatest expos including The Holiday and Travel Show, the Mind and Body Show, The Engineer's Expo and many more are hosted here. It is a center of Excellence for all where you can learn many things from all the expos and shows.

7. Palais Theatre

10. The Old Melbourne Gaol

It is on Russel Street in Melbourne. It is a blue stone building and has a courtyard. It is located near the Old Watch House of City police.

11. Princess Theatre

One of the spectacular landmarks is Princess Theatre. It was refurbished in the 19th Century. The World Class Stage Production is a must visit in it.  The recent productions are Mama Mia and Cats and Jersey Boys and much more. Open 7 days a week, and you can take a short ride from Corner House to the Theatre.

12. Immigration Museum

This museum is one of a kind as it provokes thought process. Visiting here is a moving experience. The Museum explores stories from the real world people who migrated to Victoria. Visit the Museum, and it will leave you spell-bound.

13. Malthouse Theatre

14. Her Majesty's Theatre
