Fort Campbell is a British-built fort in Mellieha, Malta. It is quite famous and historically important. The fort as of today lies in ruins, but at its best, it was a significant center for the British Army. The construction of the structure was completed in 1938, and took a year for the same. It was a major fort to the north of the Victorian Lines, and marks the last fortification to be built in Malta. It faces the St. Paul’s Islands and its purpose was to defend the land against invaders from the Mellieħa as well as St. Paul's Bay. Due to neglection after its decommissioning, the fort is in ruins.
