Stadtwald Gottingen is a natural preserve in Gottingen, Germany. While the area housed species of flora and fauna since 1997, the year 2007 brought about the official title of Nature Reserve. One of the most easily accessible parks, it is often flocked by people on weekends or during the holidays. The reserve aims at protecting a number of animals and birds, and plant species. Some of the fauna that you can spot here are wildcats, bats, birds, insects, amphibians and endangered butterfly species.
