The Russian Orthodox Church of Menton is dedicated to Our Lady of Consolation and St. Nicholas, the Wonderwork. The church was built in 1892 with canonical unity of the 17th century designed by Hans-Georg Tersling and reflects Russian architecture. It was built as a place of worship for Russian settlers in the late 19th century funded by Grand Duchess Anastasia of Russia, the Czaina.

The Russian Orthodox Church is not as grand as other attraction measuring just 12 m long and 7.5 m wide. The icons in the church were painted by Karl Briulloy reflecting the effect of Romanticism built in Carrara marble. The church adds an Eastern Russian landscape to the French Riviera.
