Bogus Creek Outfitters Reviews & Ratings
We had a wonderful time for the entire experience. Just let go and let yourself, we the sky, smell the hey and the horses. These are the same experiences or our pioneer relatives, except for the beautifully prepared meal at the end. Forget you modern world expectation.s
We went on the sleigh ride dinner on the 8th of January of 2016. To put it mildly, it was a hoot! We had such a great time with the ride, the crew, the singer, just everything. The steak was the best I've ever had as was the carrots. We have been all over and for me to say it was the best is a very high complement. The rest of the meal was wonderful also. I mean when you don't even need anything but the red potato without butter! We got such a kick out of the cowboy poet, laugh, that's what it's all about. The singer was singing songs I grew up with. My wife always thought I was making them up, now she knows they are real. Would we do it again, in a heart beat! We will see you all next year for another fantastic ride. :)
Just went to dinner at Bogus creek outfitters -and it may not have been the worst night in my life - it was definitely the worst I had to pay for! It was supposed to start with a sleigh ride... Well the sleigh only had 2 horses that were expected to pull 30 people - which of course they couldn't so I and about 11 other customers had to walk all the way up. That was after we all had to get off and help push start the sleigh. Customers were asked to help guide the horses... More than one person fell in the deep snow while they were trying to get the sleigh started... And when we got to the top it was to find an awful dinner,, seriously over salted, cold and if that wasn't bad enough the chicken was raw.... We did try to complain about some of it to the manager / owner ?? Did us no good what so ever... We chose to walk back down the hill rather than suffer though any more.. at $90.00 per person I was expecting something much nicer...
This keeps coming up when I am visiting my parents house on Peacock.... Lol
