Parco dei Nebrodi is a largest nature reserve in Sicily. Spread over thousands of hectares, this reserve has a rich biodiversity. It is home to different species of deer, bear, fox, boar, hedgehog, wild cat, weasel, hare, rabbits and black pig. Hundreds of birds of different species can be spotted here throughout the year. The land is dominated by rare as well as local plants and trees. Waterfall of Catafurco along with the small artificial lake in this area attract many tourists and locals alike.
