  • Catholic churches in the populated areas these days are filled with narrowed-minded, timid...parishioners who would 90% do not want to bother people do not usually come to their church for Mass. Their manner, behavior, attitudes towards strangers who don't dress very nicely visiting their church are ranging from cold, uncaring to appalling...etc. The priests nowadays to remind parishioners daily during Mass to live out as examples to be Jesus disciples for the world and God to see not just coming to Mass daily for your.own conscious sake and to appear good among your own. Truly live out what Jesus teaches us otherwise don't even come to Mass.

  • If I could give 0 stars, I would have. Fr. Alphonsus lead the mass for my father, approximately 2 weeks ago. We were not in a place, emotionally, where we wanted to publicly speak. So, we had to reply on the priest to speak for us. It was very obvious, that he asked no questions and made no attempt to get information about my father for the eulogy. He said nothing about my father, except to refer to the stepmother (btw, calling her by the wrong name). When my family spoke with him about this, asking what happened, he proceeded to blame the funeral home. Whatever happened...it all came down to his responsibility. He definitely had no preparation and not much interest (i.e. he thought my step mother was my mother, as well).

  • If you're looking for a quick Mass on a Holy Day go to 12:15; they realize you're probably there on your lunch hour
