Casa San Ildefonso, Mexico City Reviews - Write a Review
Cozy.. The beds were comfortable.. Everyone was polite... Clean bathrooms and a locker to lock your belongings in.. The breakfast is pretty basic but I loved it! Security within was great and i felt safe the whole time i was there!!!
Nice hostel, very clean, good breakfast. There is a security guard who buzzes you in and out. Front desk staff are polite. Not a lot of socializing going on, but perfect if you just want a pleasant quiet place to rest.
A hostel with some individual rooms and relaxing atmosphere.. Centrally located, only two blocks from Zócalo.
Very nice exterior and ambience, and well positioned for access to historico centro. We stayed here due to a Lonely planet recommendation. Two things let it down: mosquitoes in the rooms due to poor sealing and a unhelpful bitchy staff member at the front desk (after the earthquake of 19 September she wouldn't let us know what the public announcements meant). All other staff were all smiles and very friendly.
Could improve with better mattress and blankets. Nice place though Very close to Mexico downtown Has a good privacy for each room and is good hostel with good service and basic brakefast included.
