If you are deeply interested in different forms of arts and its expression, then you must visit the Museum of Modern Art. Located in the Bosque de Chapultepec, this museum was inaugurated in 1964. This museum showcases some of the greatest marvels of Mexican art from the twentieth century, with more than 3000 sculptures, drawings, paintings, portraits and photographs. Works of 20th century local artists like Angel Zarraga, Roberto Montenegro, Frida Kahlo and Rufino Tamayo are preserved and displayed. More recent art works like those of Juan Soriano, Mathias Goeritz and Kasuya Sakai are also displayed. In addition to its regular displays, the museum also holds exhibitions on different themes.
