Good exhibits somdtimes great BUT terrible organization. The building itself is overrated but the view from the balcony is fantastic... Not sure THAT should be a point of reference for a museum so you can see why 3 stars is at most a good review.
Jumex is a privately-funded Museum whose collection of contemporary works belongs to one person. I did not get a chance to visit until my last day in the city. I would have liked to spend more time, there, among works that are unfamiliar to me. Next time, I will start out at Jumex.
Beautiful building, only had video gallery open on basement level but was very interesting! Nice outdoor patio/cafe/bookstore.
The building is more interesting on the inside than from outside. The exhibits I saw were good, but nothing really stuck with me. One of the best vantage points for looking at the Soumaya building is from the second-floor terrace of this building.
Great exhibition! Very modern. 1
