Tlalpan National Park, Mexico City Reviews

  • Man!, my favorite place on earth to breath clean fresh air, there's a small ring to run or walk around, or if you fell more adventurous take the whole tour up , don't worry is guided by all the signs up there and not to mention that there's security up there by the police.. Really clean place to exercise and when you finally finished jogging a cool natural milkshake or slushy is waiting for you at a really affordable price in any stand you prefer.. Don't wait and come to spend a good time with your loved ones at a o number one natural park around Mexico city..

  • Sigue siendo una muy buena opción para hacer ejercicio en un ambiente frío y húmedo. Siempre hay mucha gente y lugar para estacionarte. Ya tienen lockers pequeños con costo de $5 varios, poco, pero hay.

  • It's a beautiful forest in the middle of the city, a place to relax, to walk and forget about the city and the entire world, you can choose from walk the concrete path walk or adventure and take the forest path walk. It's a great place to go for a run, practice yoga or take your kids to play in their playground. It's important to say that pets and bicycles are not allowed, but you don't need them. It's one of my favorite hide outs since I was a kid.

  • Awesome place to visit though I had to argue with the armed guard about my skateboard, he guarded it carefully until my return. Much of the park has lost its ground cover, so cannot be called "natural" really, but at least some ancient trees were spared the ax and all of the trees have now been numbered, presumably to prevent more logging of the area and track every single tree which is quite a job. Unfortunately Mexico doesn't have a recent flora with a dichotomous key, but in one of the areas that did still have native groundcover I spotted what I think is a Boschniakia (ground cone) which is unknown to science in Mexico as far as I can tell? Anyway, I didn't at all feel unsafe there even without a guard watching over me with a semi-automatic machine gun at any point (lots of people around at that time of day who were legitimate trail users), and believe that everyone visiting Mexico City should take a walk in this park at least once.

  • Nice walkingtrails, there is something for everybody here. Cute squirrels
