About Fat Tuesday, Miami Beach
Mardi Gras (), also called Shrove Tuesday, or Fat Tuesday, in English, refers to events of the Carnival celebrations, beginning on or after the Christian feasts of the Epiphany (Three Kings Day) and culminating on the day before Ash Wednesday. Mardi Gras is French for "Fat Tuesday", reflecting the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season. Related popular practices are associated with Shrovetide celebrations before the fasting and religious obligations associated with the penitential season of Lent. In countries such as England, Mardi Gras is also known as Shrove Tuesday, which is derived from the word shrive, meaning "confess".Wikipedia

Tried to order food, but the kitchen was closed. Another patron offered one of her wings to me and it was great! I don’t care for frozen alcoholic drinks so this wasn’t the place for me, but it wasn’t bad.
Come on now! Who doesn't like cold drinks on a hot day? This was my 2nd time at this location but was very familiar with the brand. I have been to about 4 of the other locations so while in South Beach I had to stop by and try them out. Perfect location on Ocean drive next to the beach and plenty of places to eat. Of course they do offer the usual bar food if you want to eat here. I know when I am in Florida I opt for fresh seafood then drinks after. They do have a small dance floor and tv's to catch football games. I think I may have even seen a pool table there. This place gets pretty crowded so get there early if you can. They do offer outside seating if you like to people watch like I do. You see some interesting characters walking on ocean drive.
I don't think this spot was as good as I think it was because I was drunk the whole time I was there (including right before entering). The bouncer was cool and wished me a happy 21st bday and he let my bro in to although he was 20 at the time(unlike wet willies). While here we met some new friends :) and we all took shots together and played pool. I don't remember the outcome of the game but it was epic. The drinks are pretty good and they let you mix multiple flavors. It would be nice if they could let in more natural lighting because this place is super dark for no reason.
Great drinks but very smoky and they will not let you leave until your finished with your daquiri in the water bottle.
The security ruin the bar they act like they are all high and mighty every time when the bar is empty. I dont even want to go here id rather go downtown atleast you can take ur drinks with you there
