Miami has a tropical-monsoon climate which means that it’s summers are humid and short. The winters are no different, being dry and also warm with occasional bouts of cooler temperatures. Prone to neurotic hurricanes, most of this erratic action happens from June to November, even though hurricanes can develop outside these dates too.
The best time to travel to Miami is between the months of December to May and more particularly March onwards, because this is when you can expect temperatures to be comfortable, hovering around 70 degree Fahrenheit. This is also the time of the year when the city is booming with tourists and nightlife.
Summers in Miami are exhausting because of the heat, humidity and mosquitoes they bring with them. Temperatures regularly top 90°F (32°C) from about June through September and there will be times when you are tired the minute you wake up in the morning.
Before you travel, it is important to have updated information about Miami’s weather so that you aren’t stuck indoors for the rest of your trip. The nights cool down and therefore any time is good to go outside but the real issue is during the day which is warm and hot- so to enjoy your beach experience completely, do find out about it in advance.
