Too crowded in the weekends. Come during the week if possible. Parking is good. I think it's $1 per hour. I bought a year pass and bring my kids on rainy days.
Mini Mondays are great for the little ones. I thought it was going to be really crowded but it wasn't bad at all. The place is so big that everyone can spread out and find their own niche. They also offer military discount which is nice. The only problem is trying to read your parking spot number to pay. They've repainted the numbers so many times you can't read them.
Great place for kids of all ages. I think the grownups can have as much fun as the kids at this place! I loved the Romero Britto mural and the art site were kids can show their creativity. The kids liked all the exhibits, specially the science and the ships area.
It was not worth the price we spent on the tickets. I was very disappointed with the grocery store set up they had. My 6yr old said we could have gone to the real supermarket. Also some of the information they have on some of the countries are incorrect. They had a young man rafting on the Rio Grande in Jamaica and stated it was used as transportation in Jamaica because the country does not have proper roads etc. I was very offended by this as this method is actually a tourist attraction in Jamaica and was never used as any type of transportation on the island. I have made attempts to call and have that rectified but have never been able to get in touch with a real person. For a children's museum I was expecting a lot more.
Really cool place for the Kids. We have a 2 year old and they even have designated toddler areas which is great considering the older kids can be a little wild. 3 Friday of the month is complimentary admission and parking. They had a few activities planned for the kids throughout the day such as arts n crafts, story time and music lessons which was good for entertaining the kids.
