  • The Miami Circle is a peaceful area where you can go for a walk along the miami river and bay, while immersing yourself in it's rich history.

  • It's a nice walk by the water anywhere around here. But unless you are seriously into history, don't make a special trip for it. It's literally a bunch of rocks in a circle. Walking along the seawall, though, as you pass by here, is totally worth it.

  • This is a small landmark/archeological park that protects and informs (via 1 sign) re. prehistory in the Americas. A great park in a prime Miami location. The views are spectacular, and watching the tugs manuever the cargo ships in and out of the river is fascinating. There are two high end restaurants next to it (south) one Italian one Mexican... And the rest of Brickell is a short walk.

  • This is a great place for meditation, concentration, and relaxation...

  • This spot, where the Miami River reaches the bay, was probably the center of the capital of the Tequesta natives. "This is the only known evidence of a prehistoric permanent structure cut into the bedrock in Eastern United States." (Wikipedia). It is almost 2000 years old. Okay, it doesn't look as cool as the Colosseum, but it is worth a visit. Visit this place as a sign of respect for those who were living here, and try to imagine how life was at a time when Brickell was flat, covered by palms and mangroves.
