Cool architecture, great for events. Good views of the port and parks. Rotating exhibits so check back often. $2 an hour for parking, not too bad for that area of Miami. Check out the park that is attached to the museum while you are there.
If you like Modern Art, this is your place. A great exhibit was going on, not sure it is worth $16. But, on a free day you will not be disappointed. So go on a free day! Try the swings out front, run through the blue silky string interactive sculpture.
The Perez museum is Miami newest Art Museum right on the water on Biscayne Bay. The Perez Museum can be enjoyed in two to three hours. The Perez has a restaurant with approximately $15 the $30 items. They also have a coffee shop with three to $5 coffees and similarly priced pastries. This has a great outdoor sitting area with a view of the Biscayne Bay but suffers from loud noise from the causeway especially is trucks Rumble along. Parking cost about $10 for the entire day at the Museum including getting coffee and hanging out for a while.
Cool museum, good outdoor seating on the side. Very nice building. Good to sit and relax on a nice day and enjoy the weather. It's also close to the free tram nearby. Make a stop here if you have the time!
Stunning architecture and an amazing view. Many people don't seem to get inside, but spend their time on the steps looking of the port, the basin where the yachts turn. The exhibits vary, but the are generally really good. Consider a meal at Verde, the restaurant on the terrace.
