Ricoh Diamond Club, Miami Reviews
Good place for camping with kids. It has showers and a swimming pool. Good short hiking for kids.
The only thing that makes this place special is the fact, that it's in the ball park. If this place was a stand alone resturant in Miami it would have been out of business long time ago. The layout is ok. The acoustics are terrible. The service was terrible. They sat us at a tabel that had not been fully cleaned off yet. The food was of average quality. My chicken was pink and still dry. The buffet pick up utensils are not ergonomic and don't fit in the holding dishes well without falling over. They have a bar, but no place to get fountain drinks. Self service on drinks is needed due to the fact that the waiting staff neglected our tabel for so long our glasses ran dry while we still had food to eat. The large pretzels were not soft nor delicious. No coffee to be found. The none wait staff was hanging out in the dining area, joking around with each other and in my way while I was trying to carry my food. No ice cream desert. The hotdog eclair was kind of gross. Staff lingers in an intimidating, judgmental and uninviting way around the desert bar making 2nts unlikely. No clear TV view of the game from our tabel. Busing staff was slow resulting in lots of tables with dirty plates piled up. This club does not have glass windows overlooking the game. I asked a uniformed, dining area staff member which way to the game seats, they did not understand anything that I said and they spoke only spanish. I asked a second staff member and she spoke a little English but, did not know the way. The third staff member that I asked knew some english and gave a mix of english and spanish directions to our seat combined with flailing arm and hand gestures to go out of the resturant and then go left. I may have been able to verbally understand her if the 2 other staff members next to her had not been so loud in there argument with each other. The game seating area for the diamond club is a long walk from the dining area. Staff talked sternly to us to stay only on the carpeted side of the hallway as we walked to our game seats. The folks next to us ordered lemonade ice desert. It is not like Italian ice at all. It was a frozen block of lemonade that could not be eaten. They have bottled water available before you walk out to your seats. I grabbed 1 but it was frozen solid. Our game seat view was great.
The 2018 MLB season starts on Thursday, March 29th!
Best place in the stadium to watch a game from. All you can eat and drink included in your ticket price. Doesn't feel like you are even at a ballpark.
