The Wolfsonian - Florida International University, Miami Reviews
A very nice local museum. It has exhibits on several floors, some are closed for renovation though. There is a collection of communist propaganda, which properly kept: looks as if it was printed yesterday. Pay attention to the ceiling because it does look gorgeous. The elevator is also worth looking at. The museum is free on Fridays. In addtion, it has a charming little giftshop.
Although I've lived in Miami for 18 years I've never been to this Museum. Pleasant surprises await. Excellent Russian history exhibit! Also a very beautiful Museum. If you're visiting South Beach I would definitely recommend a visit.
I loved it here. The exhibits were very well thought out. I only wish there was more of a permanent exhibit in place. I could spend all day in an art deco museum, but I understand why museums here would get tired of that. The museum store was also an attraction in itself.
We took our daughter for family event and enjoyed making art and finding all the images on the map through the exibit. Went in expecting to see a small private collection. It was nicely displayed.
Transcendent. How to express how entirely worthwhile it is to step into this place and behold its geniusly curated works, so many treasures so eloquently and lovingly situated?
