If you are yearning for some relaxing time with your family, you should head to Hubbard Park. This recreational park offers the best of nature with a sprawling green lawn, surrounding ponds and a periphery of hills, covering a total area of 1800 acres. There is a well-lined trail that takes you to the top of the hill where Castle Craig is built. At an elevation of more than 1000 feet, this castle is ideal for photography and capturing some beautiful scenic views of the Greater Meridien area. The iconic landmark in this park is the tower by the castle that was made open for public in 1900. The hills surrounding the Hubbard Park are locally known as hanging hills and have volcanic origin.

  • We stopped here for a quick rest when driving down to Virginia. It was a great place to walk the dog around and stretch our legs. I didn't see any bathrooms. So we stopped somewhere else real quick to use the restroom. There were a lot of ducks and geese to enjoy and the pond was serene. It was the perfect place for us to stop.

  • I love this place. I've been going there since I was a child. I also brought my children there for picnics and to let them fish. They always had a great time feeding the ducks and also playing at the playground. I hiked it a few times. The scenery is breath taking. Especially in the Fall

  • Great place for kids/family. You can have a great family time here. Lot of people can be seen partying here. I went there for picnic. Quite place, away from the traffic noise. Calm and peaceful place. Great place for busting your stress.

  • Lovely park. I came upon it by chance and spent a pleasant afternoon by the duck pond. Lots of police presence in the time I spent there, but I don't know if that's common.

  • A nice park with a great surprise if you follow the road up to the tower at the top! A great view!
