The Juniper Valley Park is one of the most popular and beloved parks in Queens and offers numerous recreational activities which attract people from far and wide. Covering an area of 55.247 acres, the park offers handball, tennis courts, paddleball area, basketball court, bocce court, seven baseball fields along with a running track stretched for nearly quarter of a mile. The shuffleboard court at the park is loved by the older members of the area. The well-maintained trails are ideal for running or jogging and there are a lot of shaded areas in the park. The separate play area for children equipped with play equipment is wonderfully done. If you are looking for a place that offers innumerable activities for the entire family, the Juniper Valley Park wouldn’t disappoint you.

Juniper Valley Park Reviews & Ratings
I've been cycling/running here for years and it's a good spot to do that. Safe park with no issues concerning crime. A ton of space for everyone at any time of the day but it does get a bit crowded when there's baseball/soccer practice. To the DRIVERS that park at the park PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR MIRRORS BEFORE OPENING YOUR CAR DOOR. CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES IVE ALMOST BEEN DOORED.......
It’s such a beautiful and well-maintained park. Been going there since I was a child. I can walk there, where I like to train for 5k’s. There are play grounds, tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields, track, plenty of walk paths and space to bike. Also plenty of space for picnicking. I also see people bring their dogs too.
This is very difficult and controversial to rate... The park itself is great with a vast variety of activities for people of all ages. But many spots in the park have become hangout spots for "gang" kids who smoke weed and fight and cuss around smaller kids by the sprinklers. It's very disappointing seeing as how it was such a well-rounded park even as of last year. If this continues many people can get hurt, especially the smaller kids and the kids getting into gang related fights.
Lovely place for a walk or just to clear your mind. I love the trees and how beautiful it is during spring-fall season. If you feel like bringing your kids here to the playground, roller skate or bike or just walk a dog this place is for you💚
Great place for kids to hang out and play. But they also have several options for adults as well. It's safe, clean and worth it.
