The Sibley Nature Center in the Hogan Park sprawling over 49 acres is rich in flora and fauna –in a way, it celebrates nature and life. At the nature center, you will find the realistic taxidermy of the endemic animals, most of which are sighted regularly on the Sibley Trail. The wildlife viewing area is a bird photographer’s paradise while the insect lovers will love to check out the bee colonies from the observatory. The Sibley Nature Center also has a library where you will find plenty of books and journals related to the Llano Estacado region. Animals like Horned Lizards, Draws and Woodrats. Kids will love to see the animals, insects and birds up close while hiking through.
