Maple, oak, ash, elm, poplar, hornbeam and willow are some of the trees that shade this lovely urban park, northeast of the main city. It is about 110 hectares worth of fields, lakes, streams and woods, a size it has grown to from the mere 35 acres at its inception in 1974. There are many cyclist and pedestrian routes, a suspended pier on the water, a dog park, a playground and many gardens. There is a picnic area with four porches with tables and benches. The porches can be booked for private events. There are also equestrian trails.
- There are toilets, bike rentals and parking at the park.
