Collezione Branca - Review

In the 19th century Bernardino Branca and the Swede doctor Fernet created a anticolerico and antimalarial medicine Fernet Branca. Later they became famous brewers. This museum was built to pay tribute to them and their company. You'll be taken through portrait galleries, uniforms worn by the workers at the plants, the 800 barrels in the basement, the herbal area, the chemical lab, promotional posters, and historic merchandise. Essentially you're taken through 150 years of the company's history. The tour ends in a tasting.

  • Fernet Branca is so iconic to me but the museum was a bit disappointing. Our tour guide was one of the Italian brand ambassadors. He was very thorough in his explanations and the history of the company. He just didn’t seem enthusiastic though. It felt a little forced. I was shocked to find there isn’t a tasting. Compared to all the other brewery and distillery tours I’ve been on, it left a lot to be desired.
