Rising above the roundabout across from the Sforzesco Castle is this monument of Giuseppe Garibaldi, the famous general and statesman on a horse. The bronze sculpture was created in 1985 by Ettore Ximenes and Augusto Guidini. The base on which the horse stands is decorate with motifs of Revolution and Virtue. It a purely Renaissance structure.
