The park gets its name from its location between two churches - the Basilica of San Lorenzo and the Basilica of Sant'Eustorgio. Nearby are some Roman ruins, the Colonne di San Lorenzo. Most of the park's traffic comes from the fact that the surrounding neighborhood is a highly popular nightlife area. The park is also appreciated for its various trees - maples, ash, cherry beam, hornbeam, beech, oak, poplar, elm and pine. There are three small play areas, a volleyball area, and lots of benches to relax on.

Parco Delle Basiliche, Milan Reviews - Write a Review

  • A park with great potential owing to it's accessible location in this town, but sadly it exists in a rather miserable part of the town. With unconventional youth roaming around the street at night, plus plenty of rubbish lying around (which locals seem to ignore completely), this park loses it's wonder. The inhabitants need to do more to keep Milan's reputation up – this can't become another Calabria!

  • Attractive park. Good place to rest in the shade for a while.

  • A beautiful park where you can relax and have fun. Not so crowded Also available rides for kids and and an area for dogs

  • Nice little park to laze in, or kick a ball around.

  • Fantastic young park. Check out the church of s lorenzo
