Parco Sempione, Milan Reviews

  • A huge park next to the castle which is worth visiting to get a glimpse of the lively Italian lifestyle. There are ponds, different kinds of animals and vegetation as well as small shops where one can buy pricey souvenirs of the city. If you are lucky, you will see elder Italians doing dancing competitions together with a live band. A must if you like nature and walking by the forest.

  • Beautiful grounds connected with the Sforzesco castle. I love the way that you can come do a picnic, ride a bike, do some sports like running, dancing... or simple walk. When you walk to the end you can see this beautiful arch the Sempione arch. Highly advise to visit the park.

  • Amazing place full of surprises! Everytime I go there I see something new, something that I've never seen before. September is the best time to visit the park if you suffer mosquitoes. If you go there in the summer remember to wear anti mosquito cream because there are plenty of mosquitoes in the park. The only down side is the there are a lot of drag dealers in every corner of the park they are not violent but still they just go around with their bicycle and ask if you want any smoke or something. But overall amazing place and a must see place if you come to Milan.

  • Very wonderful place to relax with your friends or family, eat ice cream, walk, play volley or badminton. Some people were doing yoga or others just sitting on grass. When i visited there was a band playing. Very beautiful . It is a very big park with an excellent panorama over the statues.

  • It's amazing how well preserved it is. It is now a home of several exhibitions. There is a nice Cafe in the courtyard. WC is free of charge and clean! I'm important detail for a place with many visitors :) the best way to reach it is public transport. If you decide to walk, you will have a chance to enjoy the atmosphere of the small streets and may come across an authentic Cafe or pizza restaurant away form the touristic flow... Don't miss it when in Milan.
