This 19th century neoclassical church was built to replace the demolished 14th century Santa Maria dei Servi church. Its design was inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, with a colonnaded facade of 36 granite columns and a massive dome. The church is dedicated to St. Charles Borromeo, a famous Milanese bishop who fought the bubonic plagues of the 16th century.

  • Beautiful church, huge and impressive cupola from outside, but not that impressive from inside, I didn't notice many artwork from inside the cupola.

  • Wedding rehearsal was phenomenal

  • Nice church with a pretty big dome.

  • Good

Quasi ultima messa domenicale a Milano: ore 21 (l'altra è in via Pisacane). Orario (impossibile suggerirlo a Google) di apertura: FERIALI: ore 7-12/16-20. FESTIVI: ore 9-13/16-22. Orari di messe: FERIALI: 8; 18; 19. FESTIVI: 10; 12; 17,30; 19; 21.
