Santa Maria Delle Grazie, Milan Reviews - Write a Review

  • Beautiful Church, but the main attraction is obviously the Last Supper... stunning piece of artwork, looking better then expected, obviously due to extensive restorations. Innovative method of viewing, as you go through a series of doors that open and close behind you, sealing the room to outside dangers to the fresco. Entrance costs €4.50 and should book in advance, as if you buy at the church you get given a slot of when your turn to go in is, but for me at least this was only a wait of 2 hours so easy to return!

  • Please to visit there. Clean and comfortable to see the human legacy. However we borrowed the guide machine and gave us wrong language. In the middle of tour we did not know what to do. And when we return to the staff she blamed us not to change ourselves and even not apologize. Hard to image a world class human legacy has trained this kind of staff.

  • Leonardo's "Last Supper" is achingly beautiful. A privilege to see this in it's "natural setting". But be warned - use your time wisely. After 15 minutes precisely, a very shouty civil servant will appear to shoo you out of the room and they take no prisoners.

  • I could not get in to see The last supper. Beware that tickets must be purchased two weeks in advance. This is a very important information that must be explained in their website.

  • To see Leonardo's experimental work on such scale is a privilege, but the tour experience offers little more than 'just photograph it and go'. My questions were not welcomed and was hurried out reluctantly without adequate time to enjoy the painting.
