Torre Velasca - Review
This 100 metres tower, used for both residential and commercial purposes, has a unique blocky and mushroom like shape, meant to represent a medieval watchtower. It rises 26 floors into the sky. The iconic shape is controversial. Some say it is a symbol of a modern and future Milan, while others decry the building as one of the ugliest in the world. Either way, it is one of the most recognisable sights of the Milanese skyline. While you can visit the foyer, the bulk of the tower is off limits to visitors. So take a picture and move on.
