Millevaches En Limousin Natural Regional Park covers almost 314,000 hectares and comprises seven landscape sectors. The park has 2000 protected sites that include Millevaches plateau, the peatlands of bonnefond and peret bel Air. The Millevaches En Limousin Natural Regional Park is a hikers’ paradise with its summit point Mount Bessou that offers a panoramic view of Auvergne Mountains and the summit to Suc au May where the orientation table awaits. Various natural gems like Augerolles Falls, Bost Circuit and Au fil du Granite along with the exhibit house of Bugeat will keep you entertained. Watersports and snow sports are popular activities and so is wildlife watching with abundant fauna like otter, butterflies, common linnet and short-toed snake eagle.
