The Barn Climbing Centre Reviews & Ratings
Nice wall, Good atmosphere. They have crammed a lot into a small space with two auto belays, top ropes, lead walls and blundering. Some nice routes are available. Joe and his springer (bingo) were very helpful and friendly.
I usually go to the climbing Hangar however thought I'd give this place a try as it had good reviews and I know someone who works there. I was deeply disappointed at the shoddy, dilapidated, uncared for look that was immediately presented upon arrival. It also didn't seem to have a clear difficulty gradient (like the climbing Hangar) and so, finding routes became a challenge from the start. Definitely not worth the £7, I would highly recommend going elsewhere if you want to climb at somewhere that won't collapse in the next year.
Took 2 of my grandsons here, aged 9 and 12. They had a fab time absolutely loved it.
Fabulous facility. First time climbing indoors for many years and enjoyed the bouldering. Climbing shoes and chalk bags available £2 hire each. Looking forward to top roping and leading on the main wall next with my son. Warm welcome received. Will be returning soon!
Friendly staff, great fun with kids.
