Alki Beach Park Reviews & Ratings

  • Beautiful but packed on any sunny day, also a huge cruise magnet for cars of all stripes. Be prepared to park far away and hike in on foot. There's pedal carts for rent, and miles of pedestrian friendly walk ways. Bicycle, roller blade, skate board, whatever. Nice restaurants just across the street for blocks.

  • Beautiful views with picnic tables and sitting benches along miles of walkable path. Public restrooms. Restaurants and coffee shops across the street. Parking available. Accessible from Seattle waterfront on a regularly scheduled water taxi. Relaxing way to spend a few hours.

  • Alki Beach is such a fun place for our family. It never fails to lift our spirits and a good time is always had. If you can arrive early enough, one may snag a fire ring for toasting marshmallows or whiling away the late evening under a lovers sky whilst staying toasty. Fun eateries across the st and always fun to admire the colorful people that God has placed upon this earth. Never a dull moment here for sure.

  • This beach always strikes me every time I visit. My first trip was like, wow, look at the skyline of Seattle and the drive and best itself is like California. I remember this on next trip, which often happens to be a few years apart. The beach walk, volleyball courts, bike path and awesome bars along the sidewalk is hard to beat. Seattle, Alki is all you need for your sunny weekend beach day. Please also try to ice plunge all well.

  • If you arrive earlier in the morning in the summer, the beach isn't too crowded. It's a quintessential Seattle beach and since I don't live in West Seattle, the view from Alki always makes me feel as if I've traveled farther than I really did. Great beach for kids as there's a good bit of sand. And last time we went, there was a ramp so wheelchair users can access the beach... Kudos for that!
