  • Dear friend and I bought coffees at Starbucks on S. KK, & E Oklahoma Ave, then we drove up to the Humboldt Park, sat by the big lagoon, watched people, esp. kids, who were fishing off a wooden pier. It was very relaxing, the weather was perfect, & we had the chance to catch up with each other on our lives, relatives & friends. We go to Humboldt Park at least once a month to sit & catch up with each other. It's a beautiful Park, lots of people walking their dogs. U should check it out!!

  • I am in love with the beer garden at this park. Picnic tables and plenty of leafy tall trees for shade, independent radio station playing, dogs galore. Excellent choices and I like the option to get a discount if you bring your own glass, though the price is still a bit higher than I’d like. Nevertheless great spot for the summer.

  • I reserved the pavilion for an event. It's really beautiful and I had a lot of fun. On site crew was really nice and helpful. The kitchen was spacious enough for us to store our things. The bathroom is public, but that's only an issue if they are busy while you have your event. Also lighting can only be adjusted by the staff. Usually this can be a bad thing, but the staff here was really on top of things. The site is really beautiful as well.

  • Wine in the park event, care of Milwaukee County Parks. Good variety of beers and wine...vendors have food and water too. You get a refillable glass, so if you attend multiple events, bring your glass for a discount.

  • Watched the fireworks here. Very nice and spacious park
