Lakeshore State Park Reviews & Ratings
Lakeshore State Park is a hidden gem in Milwaukee. It's a beautiful park right along Lake Michigan with views of the lake, the Milwaukee Art Museum, Discovery World, and the Summerfest grounds. The park is well taken care of and even features a red lighthouse!
Could use some public restrooms .
Nice lakshore area
Nice area to visit.
Very nice shoreline trail, just east of the festival grounds, on reclaimed land. The park connects to the lakefront via a bridge on the north end. There is some parking at the south end. The trail loops around, with a beach, prairie land and revetments on view. The skyline views are quite good. There are minimal seating areas. A nice getaway feel right in downtown Milwaukee.
