Water Street Brewery Reviews & Ratings

  • Very good brews and great food. Order the beef short rib tacos — you will not be disappointed. The bartender recommended them & I wolfed down one before remembering to take a photo. Usually rice & bean sides are “eh”, but Water Street’s cilantro seasoning and the spiciness of the beans were pleasant surprises.

  • Whole place wreaked of malts and hops, like not in a good way. The next day I could still smell it on my jacket and had to wash it. I know they brew there which is good but the smell was just too strong that day. Otherwise the drinks were good and I had fun with my group. Appetizers were good too.

  • I love this place! It has a nice atmosphere/service and the food is great. The restaurant is even appropriate for kids as long at you don’t sit at the bar. I especially like the burgers my favorites are the Bacon & Blue and the Southwest burger. Overall it’s a great place I would definitely recommend!

  • Food is decent and location is convenient. However for some strange reason or server kept wanting to kick us out. She kept asking us every 5 mins shall I bring the check..... finally we gave in and left! She even asked if she should take my beer mug away even though I had more than a few sips left to enjoy.

  • Went here for lunch during the week and it was great! Staff was super friendly and the food was amazing! My group ordered the turkey club, burger, and fish fry. All were prepared correctly and very good! The menu has something for everyone, and their Friday fish fry is some of the best I’ve had in Milwaukee. It has a really cool atmosphere and has a wall of old time beers that is really fun to look at. Only thing is it can be a bit loud and hard to hear the people you’re with given the acoustics and how open the place is.
