Minneapolis Farmer's Market - Review

This is a neighborhood market covering a large area in the downtown area of the city. The place is lined with vendors selling farm fresh products. The products range from everything to everything such as fruits, vegetables, daily food items and all other grocery products. These are the farmers from the countryside who have made it a platform to sell their products. The freshness of the products and friendly attitude of vendors has made it one of the most demanded market places in the city. The Nicollet Market is just adjoining to this.

Minneapolis Farmer's Market, Minneapolis Reviews

  • Farmers markets sound nice enough, but I've never seen one that I would go out of my way too visit. This place was terrific! I found all kinds of things I wouldn't get at a grocery store, like ground cherries, delicious baby carrots, handcrafted pottery, and a wood-burl bowl. I also found some pretty reasonable prices, but I had to search for them. Parking is an absolute madhouse, so good luck on that front. The crowd is pretty thick too, so getting around with a stroller, wheelchair, or a lot of gear would be tough.

  • Interesting outdoor market with a wide selection of, fresh from the grower, a wide range of produce and other food items. Also a numerous stalls selling a variety of crafts and other interesting and often hand made items. Several stands selling food to eat on site. Fun place to visit. Parking is free but sometimes can be tough to find a spot. Restroom facilities, such as they are, on site..

  • I went here w/my Rise Program w/some people! We had s nice looking at the food! But, I told 1 lady in our group if she wanted to get anything w/me! We both got 3 big containers of fruit for $5 & I thought it was a good deal! I checked them out & they looked fine but, when I got home & took them out of the plastic bag they were moldy! Yuck!

  • Fresh fruit and veggies! The smell of these is absolutely wonderful. Ames Farm is there selling their honey. They have many different flavors--depending upon what the source is. There is bees wax & raw honey. This year they had some apples as well. This is a favorite place from my childhood. Mom took me there alot as a child growing up. Every year I drive there several times from northern Minnesota to get different produce and visiting friends

  • Always great to visit the market. So many lovely plants, flowers, vegetables and people! Didn't score any field grown tomatoes, but a little early for that. Crowded but generally polite and patient people. Good food at the Mexican stand closest to the start, very tasty tamales. Overpriced and under juiced lavender lemonade.
