This is an outdoor stadium in the campus of the University of Minnesota. It is the home ground of the Golden Gophers as well as the temporary home of the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. It is a horseshoe style museum designed in a way to support future expansions.

The stadium is also the third on campus stadium and the 4th to be used for UM Football. The TCF Bank bears its name as they are the main sponsors of the stadium and its games. The stadium has one of the largest lockers in any colleges or professional institutions in the world.

  • The stadium is a thing of architectural beauty. One of the nicest stadiums in college football. Attention to detail and thoughtful touches everywhere— the locker room is shaped like a football and the Minneapolis skyline peeks through at a strategic angle. Anyone who has been to a cold weather game here can appreciate the heated and spacious bathrooms. Concessions are plentiful as is beer availability. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

  • My favorite stadium in Minnesota! I do my best to see at least 3 games a year. Always fun even if the Gophers don't win, which is often. Been for a few concerts here as well, U2 being the first (and best) of them.

  • I watched a game about a month ago it was so great with a lot of space I could stand up and things but the part I enjoyed the most was the goals.... it was sad it was the last game at the stadium but I enjoyed it and was glad I experienced it. I just wish it was like all connected at the top so I could walk over to people without having to get seats close to the............ overall the game was great and I really dont know what else to say but I guess you can never go there now? 😭

  • Great place to watch a football game. I really enjoy the old-school environment with outdoor stadium and marching band, especially on a beautiful fall day. This is the way football was meant to be. Yes, I'm old school, but I prefer the live U of M Marching Band to the same Guns 'N Roses blaring on a loop for hours that I hear at NFL stadiums. Their concessions were standard fare, and while NCAA rules change over time, there is the option to grab a beer during the game if you like.

  • Fun experience to go to a MN United game with friends. Parking was a bit of a challenge and they have strict rules about what you can and can't bring in (no purses bigger than a large index card) so check out the website before heading over. Lots of concession stands with all kinds of food, beer, etc.
