This is an outdoor stadium in the campus of the University of Minnesota. It is the home ground of the Golden Gophers as well as the temporary home of the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. It is a horseshoe style museum designed in a way to support future expansions.

  • Great place to watch a football game. I really enjoy the old-school environment with outdoor stadium and marching band, especially on a beautiful fall day. This is the way football was meant to be. Yes, I'm old school, but I prefer the live U of M Marching Band to the same Guns 'N Roses blaring on a loop for hours that I hear at NFL stadiums. Their concessions were standard fare, and while NCAA rules change over time, there is the option to grab a beer during the game if you like.

  • Love Gopher Football and "The Bank" is gorgeous, but after this many seasons the still have not perfected the concessions. The first year they didn't have cash registers. Nine years later, at a game that was only two thirds full, they are still running out of food. Love the U of M, but they have to do better. Or, just let me bring my own food inside like Target Field does.

  • Nice that football is back on campus. Great venue. Hard to say there's a bad seat. Like every venue, though, it's a little tough to go on a budget. $6 soda and more for a beer makes it a big day out for a family looking for a reasonably priced experience. But get the cheap bleacher seats and it can be done without breaking the bank.

  • I like events that take place at TCF Bank Stadium due to the ease of arrival via light rail, parking on nearby lots and parking ramps, or if you are lucky enough to arrive early or have the appropriate pass, right next to the stadium. Lots of bathrooms, including several family-bathrooms, that are nice especially when attending an event with my kids. Wide concourses for easy walking. There isn’t a bad seat in the entire stadium. Great views of the field (I’ve been to a concert, a football game and a soccer match there).

  • Clean and well-maintained modern sports stadium with varied concession options and friendly staff. Even as a large group of opposition fans we were made to feel very welcome and treated respectfully. Easy walking access from Metro East Bank station and local campus restaurants on a quiet and modern university. If I had the occasion I'd visit again.
