The Lyndale Tap House

4.11 Vote

When you step into the Tap House you will see an over energetic crowd munching on the dishes which are very good to look at and full of aroma. The food and craft beer selection at this restaurant is worth applauding. Pit beef and chicken tacos, Thai dragon, pit pork sandwich, balsamic field green salad with steak, Thai sandwich and many other dishes on the eclectic menu are outstanding and finger licking good. Bloody Mary and eggs Benedict should also be tried. What makes this place lively is that the people around are very friendly and happy go lucky.

The Lyndale Tap House Reviews & Ratings

  • Typical bar scene with a full bar, several tables, and some bar games. We only topped in for one drink one weekend night - but it's exactly what you'd expect from this type of place. It wasn't overly packed and the service was good. Unfortunately, however, it seems as though they've removed their shuffleboard tables which is why we didn't stay longer than intended. Nothing special, but you'll get drinks from a bartender with a smile!

  • Experience was sub par to say the least. Purchased a group on voucher that had not expired and the owner refused to acknowledge it. Claimed it was previous management so it was no good. Food was okay but nothing special. Far better restaurants in uptown to indulge in.

  • My wife liked it, but I was not huge on the place. I got the banh mi sliders. The flavor was good, but they were really greasy. With 3 sliders, there was a layer of grease over the bottom of my whole plate. The place was near empty at 6 pm on a Friday, which is never a good sign.

  • It had a different name on the building. People are raving about the tacos and nachos. Tap beer was a good selection.

  • This is a cool place. I was visiting with a friend last night and it was packed with trivia going on. We loved the food here, the pulled pork sandwich was fantastic with a smoky cherry wood flavor and was moist without dripping. Great beer selections and to die for bread pudding....they were so busy that we got bread pudding on house when the waiter realized she took a slightly longer time to come to our table. Highly recommended!
