A visit to the Macarelleta cove will make you feel like you are stepping into a holiday postcard. Beautiful, tranquil and picturesque, the Macarelleta is an idyllic cove with virgin white sands and gentle waves of turquoise waters. A quick hike of 10 minutes from the car park will bring you to this beach sheltered by hills covered in pine trees and oaks.

  • Avoid afternoons as the beach tends to get crowded then.
  • For the explorers, a hike between the two beaches of Macarelleta and Macarella is a must. You will get to see beautiful sights of the cove from the mountain cliffs.

  • Renting a car or a scooter is recommended. No public transport nearby.
  • Access via sea on a kayak or a Jet Ski.

  • Susy’s Chiringuito on the beach.

  • Best beach in Menorca

  • A must visit. Beautiful.

  • Probably the busiest beach I have seen in Menorca. Pretty but just too busy. Something quite disturbing when you are on holidays and there’s somebody queueing to take your place as you leave as there’s literally not a single space where to put down one’s towel. Get here at the crack of dawn and leave by 11am and you might be able to enjoy it a bit more. Short walk from Macarella which has a restaurant. That is in turn a good 30’ at brisk pace from Cala Galdana parking. The guy that showed up to set up his bar stand on the beach and prepare (very professionally if I made add) cocktails for the delight if the crowds was a highlight..

  • Beautiful bay

  • Paradise.
