The Dunn's Mountain Park in Rowan County sprawling over 83 acres was a gift from the local Land Trust and it was opened for public in 2006. The park is a hiking paradise with a number of scenic trails offering magnificent views of the landscape. Each summit offers a bird’s eye view from the long-range binoculars placed above. There are picnic shelters around the Dunn's Mountain Park which are equipped with picnic tables and access to restrooms. The Blacksmith Shed is another attraction of the park that you can explore while hiking.
