  • Much different than in my country. Lots of rooms worth seeing. Amazing view from the tower. We came during national holiday and there were cool performances. Free parking.

  • A nice and authentic medieval ages castle, filled with interesting history and a beautiful scenery. Everything is available in English, although I am not sure about the tour itself. Multiple entertainment is available if tourist visit at the right time, from a tournament to dueling knights, sightseeing and an insight into the most crucial medieval crafts such as metal-working, pottery, alchemists, herbalists. A must go for any fans of the middle ages.

  • Renovated ruins. Fun for kids, a lot of stuff you can touch/sit/play with. Fantastic experience in herb room.

  • This is an old ruin which has been renovated to make it safe for visitors to walk around. Now it is in all its glory and is great for people of all ages, including children, to get a feel of the majesty and history of the castle. There are tour guides dressed in authentic costumes of the day to educate the visitors, but you can walk around on your own if you wish. There are interactive screens with puzzles and scripts of information for you to browse through. There is a gift shop and café also. You could spend up to 1-2 hrs here and it's not expensive.

  • Takes you back in time. Beautiful medieval themed castle with lots of interactive games and displays telling the story and history of the old king Lajos and the castle. You can visit the armoury, the rooms and courts, the hunters room with trophies of animals killed, the alchemist's room (which pretty much looks like a pharmacognosy lab without a microscope) and many other sites, most of which have interactive games and descriptions in English and German alongside Hungarian. ..and there's the amazing rooftoop view too plus and endless list of souvenirs to collect.
