Corona Arch, Moab Reviews
Amazingly neat spot. Definitely worth the stop. A little steep to climb at times. Weather is dry and beautiful. Mostly quiet with absolutely phenomenal views. Feels like you're on Mars when really a cute city is right around the bend! A magnificent place to camp and hang out.
What a wonderful little hike for average hikers and explorers. It's not to an extreme of a hike however, you need to be in fair shape and obviously go early. It gets hot quick so be prepared. Take yourself some water and be prepared to do a little climbing. There is nothing technical on this hike. It's a pretty straight forward hike. There are still significant drops though so don't throw caution to the wind either. Have fun, play it safe and this hike will give you some good memories and great views.
Such a fun hike!! There was plenty of parking, which is a positive way to start a hike. The beginning of the hike, you cross a railroad tracks and you have gorgeous views all around. The trail is marked with paint and Cairns. The closer you get to the arch, the hike gets even more fun. There is a ladder you climb up and some metal ropes to hold onto for stability. We saw quite a few dogs on this hike, which is always fun. Great hike!
Great hike. It is about 1.5 miles long with several hundred feet of ascent. The trail has one steep section with a cable to help you pull yourself up and then a latter to climb. Wear good shoes for traction on the slickrock! Great place to hike! Gorgeous views!
Great spot. A bit of work but not overly difficult. Truly a spectacular place. RT 279 into park is outstanding. Not overcrowded as national parks can get (at least when I was there).
