Gemini; Twin bridges. Get it? At the end of this mountain bike/motorcycle/ATV trail is a curious sandstone formation. It is a deep hole in the canyon wall, and the two arches span over it. Stay away from the edge, and make sure your kids don't wander too close. Getting there isn't hard, but it is quite a long ride. Also, it ends about 500 feet higher than when you started at the trailhead, and that's after you climb 900 feet and drop 400 feet. There are some sections where you should obviously get off and walk. The scenery on the way is beautiful. This is one of the most famous biking paths in the state, a 16 mile round trip. The trailhead to Gemini Bridges should not be hard to find; it is clearly marked on Google Maps and is close the Bar-M Chuckwagon.

  • We were in a Jeep so we took the 4 wheel drive route off 191 (Google "Gemini Bridges Trailhead") to get to the bridges. Gemini Bridges is an interesting stop, maybe a few hundred yards hike from the parking area. I don't know if there is a trail to see the bridges from below, that might be much more impressive - hard to photograph or see it as well from above.

  • When it says down bull run and up getaway it means out on bull run and back on getaway. Turns out canyon mountain biking is different than mountain mountain biking in there you might start at to high point, where in the mountains unless at a resort you almost always start at the bottom

  • Beautiful place, we went down the bottom road and saw this bridges from the bottom, then we drove up road and saw them from the top. Totally worth the drive.

  • Great place. Need a Jeep or bike to get there. The off road ride from the highway is a blast.

  • AWESOME! Great adventurous off road. Very mesmerizing.
